Pearl is created naturally by a living creature over many years. Each pearl is unique in luster, size and shape. Pearls measures 3 – 4 on the MOH hardness scale so care should be taken when wearing pearls. Freshwater pearls are found in mollusks in rivers, lakes and ponds. They are generally more irregular in shape than saltwater pearls.
